Regulations

Conditions for submitting an entry to the iLearning Awards

  1. All entries must be submitted using the online conference management system: www.conftool.net/ilearn2009/. Mail, email, fax entries cannot be accepted.
  2. Languages for entries are English and French.
  3. Abstracts should  be between 1,500 and 2,500 words and should respect the structure of the form provided in this document.
  4. Supporting documentation should be uploaded as a single pdf file in the conference management system.
  5. Additional documentation (video, simulation, web site, etc.) should be provided as links to Internet resources, with proper identification/password when needed.
  6. If additional online documentation cannot be accessed after three attempts, the judgement will be based on the abstract and supporting documentation (pdf file).
  7. Incomplete submissions will be rejected.
  8. All material submitted will remain strictly confidential to the judges.
  9. Entries may only be submitted by organisations who have registered and paid for the conference and the Awards Dinner for at least one representative.
  10. Submissions can be made into multiple categories by submitting additional entries—and getting additional conference entries and Awards Dinner.
  11. The language of the submission must be as objective as possible and claims must be supported by evidence (documents, testimonies, etc.).
  12. The categories may be changed at the discretion of the organisers.
  13. The judges' decision is final and there will be no correspondence regarding their decisions.
  14. The winner of the category will be announced at the Awards Dinner on 19 January 2009.
